Catherine Frances Repka

Catherine Repka, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed
away on September 19, 2025, at the New Haven Assisted Living facility in Schertz,
Texas. She was 98 years old.

Catherine was born on December 21, 1926, in Poth, Texas, to Arthur Reinhard and
Rosa Bednarz. She lived in Poth for most of her life. She graduated from Poth High School
and worked in banking at the First National Bank of Poth for most of her adult life.

She married Ludwig Repka on June 11, 1947, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic
Church in Poth.

She is survived by her six children Kathleen Lambert (husband Lee),
Thomas Repka (wife Paula), Kenneth Repka (wife Diann), Frances Trussell (husband
Emmett), Patricia Repka, and Carol Young (husband Jayson). She is also survived by
her twin sister Lucille Barrow, brother Wilford Reinhard, twelve grandchildren,
and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding Catherine in death are her parents, her husband Ludwig, a brother Lawrence
Reinhard and a brother David Reinhard.

She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Poth and the Catholic
Daughters of Poth. Some of her favorite interests were playing canasta, bridge and
dominoes; quilting, sewing and bowling with her friends.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at
Blessed Sacrament Church in Poth, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. also held in the church. Entombment will be
held at Blessed Sacrament Mausoleum.
