Catherine Ryan Obituary
on December 15, 2025. Sister was born in Ireland on January 8, 1926, and entered the
Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement on Oct 3, 1951.
She made her Final Profession of Vows on August 29, 1959. Sister ministered in many
missions in the US and Canada.
Sister Catherine is predeceased by her parents Martin and Agnes Ryan and her siblings, Maura
Fanning, Martin Ryan, Jim Ryan, Agnes Quinn and Ann Patricia Ryan. She is survived
by her nieces and nephews in Ireland.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday December 22, 2025, and she will be
interred in the Sisters' cemetery at Graymoor. A wake will be held at St. Francis Chapel,
on Sunday, beginning at 4:30pm.
