Catherine G. Searcy, 78, of Logansport passed away June 2, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born to the late Arthur and Florence (Schlick) Lewellen on April 29, 1947 in Logansport.
Catherine worked at Gen Corp in Logansport. She enjoyed playing cards, flowers, gardening and being outdoors.
She will be missed dearly by many.
Catherine is survived by her daughter Catherine Eastham; sons John Searcy, Michael Searcy, and Zeb H. Searcy II; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers William Lewellen and Frank Lewellen; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Diana Kay Searcy, son Ronald Searcy; her parents Arthur and Florence Lewellen; sisters Constance Lammer, and Mary Ann Michael; and brother Eugene Lewellen.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Rans Funeral Homes Marocco Chapel. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
