The sarcastic wit of a comedian, the grace of a showgirl, the soul of an adventurer and the life of quite literally every party.
Catherine Elaine Roberts was gifted to this world on April 4th 1947 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan to her parents Cleo Roberts and Madelyn Droune both deceased. She is survived by Her siblings: Brother, Gary and (Helen) Roberts and Sister, Vicki Filley and (Bill Loomis). Daughter, Stacey and (Scott) Lewis. Grandkids Christopher and (Takisha), Michael and Mathew Henke. And all her Great Grandchildren Johnathen, Jayden, Zayne,Jacob, Autumn, Trenton and Lincoln Henke. And a list of other close Family and Friends too numerous to write but all equally important to her.
If the story was hers to tell I'm sure she was born a full grown women envied by ladies and swooned over by gentlemen.
She had a love of music or at least musicians. And settled into a long 26 year career at Rowe in Grand Rapids a company that specialized in jukeboxes where she earned her journeymans electrical card. After retiring from Rowe she earned her medical certificate and worked 12 years at Cherry Street Health.
Throughout her life she loved to travel. She has made her presence known in all 50 states, something she was very proud of. She had also been seen in Canada, Mexico, The Bahamas, Equador, Iceland and The Caymen Islands. Not one to settle ever she also was a certified scuba diver and had her concealed weapons permit.
This page is unable to contain all that was the life and love of Catherine. In the minds and
experiences of those who knew her and those that love her she will live forever.
I am ready to meet my maker. Whether my maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.
-WINSTON CHURCHILL
