Cathleen A. Smith, 75, of Johnstown Ohio passed away unexpectedly at St. Ann's Hospital on Saturday April 12th 2025. Cathleen was born on March 12th 1950 in Mount Vernon Ohio to Charles and Catherine Ashbrook. She was a lifelong resident of Johnstown and was known and loved by so many. She is survived by her step-son Aaron, Andrew (Kelly), Adrianne (Todd), Her grandsons William, Brody, Bill Brown, Logan, many cousins and nieces and nephews. Cathy will always be remembered for her spunky personality and being an avid Johnstown Johnnie fan. She will be missed and loved by all that knew her. Friends and family will gather on Thursday April 17th at the Johnstown United Methodist Church, 159 S. Main Street, Johnstown Ohio at 10am for calling hours followed by a funeral service at 12. They will proceed to a graveside service after at Green Hill Cemetery. In leu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Licking County Humane Society. A luncheon will take place after the graveside service at the Monroe Township building.
