Obituary of Cathleen A. Whiting
Cathleen A. "Cathy" Whiting, age 65 of Liberty, PA, passed away at her home on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born on April 11, 1958, in Troy, PA, a daughter of Robert and Helen (Bohlayer) Jenkins. Cathy had been employed by Wundies and was a merchandiser for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Michael R. Whiting; daughters, Jessica (Jamie) Harry of Carlisle, PA, and Rachael (Elliot) Bartels of Gilbert, AZ; and sisters, Marcia Carnwright of Canton, PA, Janice Colegrove of Mansfield, PA, and Nancy (Gene) Lavallee of LaBelle,FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Myles; and sister, Anna Lee.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will immediately follow the viewing on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Roseville Cemetery in Roseville, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association – Greater Philadelphia Chapter. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
