Cathy Louise Carey Brinkley March 19, 1961 – September 26, 2021 Cathy Louise Carey Brinkley, 60 of Wilson passed away Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Allen Mills will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Cathy is survived by her sons, Johnny Brown and wife, Susan of California, and Craig Brown and companion, Rebecca Jenkins of Wilson; grandchildren, Kailyn Brown, Skylar Brown and Amelia Brown; sisters, Wanda Davis, Patricia Raper, Linda Tamez, Tammy Batten, and Denise Tedder all of Wilson, and her brother, Keith Carey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Brinkley, and her parents, William Burl Carey and Ernestine Walston Carey.
