Cathy Carnes Obituary
Cathy was the daughter of the late Richard and Belva (Brewer) Carnes. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Carnes.
She found immense joy in music and was a familiar face at the annual Wheatland Music Festival, where she celebrated song and community with fellow music lovers.
She was also a dedicated fan of the sitcom Mama's Family as well as I Love Lucy, finding comfort and humor in the shows' warm, witty chaos.
Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her siblings; her brothers, Danny Carnes and Dean (Karen) Carnes and her sister, Peggy (Gerald) Dyche.
In keeping with Cathy's wishes cremation has taken place and her family will be remembering her privately.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Cathy have been asked to consider St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1340 Sycamore Street, Niles, MI 49120.
