Cathy Diaz Obituary
Cathy was preceded in death by her father Ralph Diaz Sr, mother Olga Leon Diaz, and sister Sharon Elaine Diaz of Winter Haven Fl. Cathy is survived by sister Irene Diaz Simmons of Winter Haven Fl and brother Ralph Diaz Jr of Riverview Fl and her Godmother Aunt Alma Leon Perricone of Tampa Fl.
Family members who were a large part of Cathy's life include:
Nephew Anthony LaRocca and wife Melissa with Angelina, Isabella, Mark, Valorie, and RJ.
Nephew Tommy LaRocca and wife Andrea with Tommy, Timmy, Marlena, and Josh.
Nieces Dawn Marie Diaz, Sharon Diaz Edwards with Taylor Edwards and Amelia Edwards, Meghan Louise Diaz with Joey, Makayla, and Tomas.
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, a service will be held at 10:30am at St Joseph Catholic Church located at 532 Ave M NW, Winter Haven, Fl 33881 followed by a reception in the FLC 2 room. During the reception anyone wishing to attend the internment service at the Lakeside Memorial Park and Cemetery can follow the procession to the cemetery then return to the reception.
Cathy will be missed by all who knew her for her happy and loving personality and the love she shared with everyone who came in contact with her.

Sending my love and prayers to Diaz family. We dont see each other much, but I cherish the memories of our youth and times spent with Cathy. She was always joyful and loving. She most definetly loved music, dancing and her family! As we all do! I always enjoyed watching her laughing and singing as she loved to entertain family. Thinking of Cathy makes me think of joy and happiness. That will always be my memory. My love to all. Cousin Sandi and family.
