Mark Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Oak Ridge Funeral Care - Winter Haven on Feb. 18, 2026.
Mark Brown, born in Streator, Illinois, on October 28, 1952, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Winter Haven, Florida.

He was 73 years old and is remembered fondly by his family and friends for his warmth, generosity, and zest for life. Mark was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patti Brown, who passed away on February 25, 2015. Their love story is cherished by those who knew them, characterized by shared laughter and cherished memories. Together, they created a loving family that will keep their spirit alive through the generations they nurtured.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Amanda Stetzel of Newton, Alabama, along with his brother David Brown and sister June Taylor. Mark was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren, with an additional great-grandchild bringing joy to the family. His legacy lives on through them, filled with stories of love, laughter, and resilience. Mark devoted a significant part of his life to his career as a Glass Bottle Maker at Tropicana Juices, where his work ethic and dedication were evident.

Outside of his professional life, he found joy in a variety of hobbies. An avid fisherman, he cherished the peacefulness of nature alongside the thrill of the catch. Mark was a loyal fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, often passionately cheering for his team. He also enjoyed spirited games of cards, savoring good coffee, and relishing the sun and surf on beach outings with Patti, where their laughter echoed in the waves.

As we remember Mark, we celebrate a man who embraced life fully and brought joy to all those around him. His laughter will echo in the hearts of his family and friends, and his spirit will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
