-Springfield- Cathy Ann Fagaines, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, Cathy was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. A woman of faith, Cathy attended Central Baptist Church in Garden City. She had a passion for housekeeping and spent her life caring for others, always putting her family and those she loved first. Her warmth, devotion, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Vaughn Jacobs and David Brite Jacobs; as well as her grandparents, Luther Melvin and Florence Vaughn, and Cohen and Ruby Burnsed.
Cathy is survived by her brother and sisters, Glenda Ray of Springfield, Jennifer Jacobs of Sylvania, and David Jacobs Jr. of savannah. Her cherished daughters, Regina Eason and Sabrina Moore both of Ellabell; and her beloved grandchildren, Brian Fagaines, Buck Fagaines, Bailey Eason, David, Payton, Emily Moore, Taylor Moore, and Donovan; many aunts and uncles and an abundance of cousins.
Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 11am-12pm with a funeral service to follow at 12pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Interment will take place in the Springfield Annex.
