Cathy Green

It is with profound sorrow and a sense of deep loss that we announce the passing of Bernice C. Green, affectionately known as Cathy, born on May 22, 1959 in Haddonfield, NJ. A courageous and dedicated soul, Cathy held her family and friends in the core of her heart, continually showering them with love and warmth. She was an epitome of loyalty, a trait that was evident not only in her personal life but also in her professional sphere where she was a respected figure in the toy train industry. Her love for her family, especially for her grandchildren Bella, Lydia, Harlee, Madelyn, Dylan and Gary was palpable and unmatched.
Cathy was a loving sister, a dedicated mother, a doting grandmother, and a loyal friend. She was a resident of Philadelphia PA in the Port Richmond section. Cathy had a unique love for the shore and mountains, a reflection of her spirit and love for nature. She also harbored a special fondness for clowns and ladybugs, embodying her playful spirit and zest for life. Cathy was a woman of many talents, but her greatest accomplishment was her family. She leaves behind her son, Robert "LB" Green (Patty), and daughter, Kathryn Ewen (Gary), who were the apple of her eye, as well as her brother, Pat Green (Bonnie) and her nieces, nephews and her friends. Cathy was predeceased by her parents, George Sr. and Georgianna Green and her siblings George C. Green, Jr., Richard Green, Marie Hill and Regina Farrell.
Cathy was a woman of strength, resilience, and determination. She was a pillar of support to all around her, offering comfort and solace in times of need. Her legacy will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren, and the many lives she touched. Cathy was a beacon of light in our lives; her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136. Her service will follow held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at 11:00am at the funeral home.
