Cathy Melko Obituary
Cathy Virginia Melko, 72, of Wintersville, OH passed away on April 12, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on August 20, 1952 to the late William "Willy" Robert and Virginia Catherine (Crouch) Menzel. She is also preceded in death by her husband James Michael Melko, one child J.R Melko, daughter in law Edith Melko, and one sister Connie Tolman. Cathy was a tough old bird! Who enjoyed chopping wood, mowing grass, walking, quiet time at home, and never ask for anything. She loved her cats.and raccoons that she fed. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Allan) Whanger of Steubenville, Two grandchildren Joshua Stephen of Bloomingdale and Taylor (Jac) Chaffee of Mingo Jct and two great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Vally Hospice for their wonderful care. Cathy will have no services at this time. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
