Ms. Quick was preceded in death by her parents, Pernando Collins and Hattie Lee Hogue, brothers, Milton Devon Collins, Kenneth Collins, Aubry Collins, and sister Mildred Sims, Ivy Huff, Linda Nell Hightower, Doris Ward, 5 nephews, and 4 nieces.
She is survived by her children Kathy Busby (Chris), Wendall Smith-Walker, Christina Burt (Josh), Charles Smith-Walker, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mattie Cooper for the years that he spent taking care of and being the best friend to our loved one.
There will be a memorial service planned at a later date.
