Cathy Lee Ritter

Cathy Lee Ritter, aged 64, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Washougal, WA. Born on January 5, 1962, Cathy dedicated much of her life to the service of others, both professionally and personally.

Cathy spent 25 years working in retail, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. Following her retail career, she transitioned to caregiving, passionately caring for others and consistently going above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those she served.

A graduate of Evergreen High School, Cathy was remembered for her vibrant, free-spirited nature. She was a lover of life, embracing each moment with joy and a contagious enthusiasm. Her hobbies included kayaking, traveling, gardening, camping, and playing puzzles and board games. These activities reflected her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

Cathy was a devoted mother to her daughters, Cynthia A. Ritter and Emily J. Ritter, who survive her. Her life was enriched by her deep love for her children and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Plans for a memorial service are currently underway and will be announced on her Facebook page once finalized. Cathy's life was a beautiful example of love and dedication, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
