Cathy Ruffle Obituary
Cathy Ann Stancil Ruffle, 52, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Mission Hospital McDowell.
She was born in Buncombe County on February 17, 1972 to Bobby and Linda Barker Stancil. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who loved vacationing with her family to the beach. Cathy like collecting owl figurines. She attended Livingstones Church of God. Her special canine companion, Iggy, brought great joy to her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gussie Barker; and one brother, Terry Stancil.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Dale, Chandler; three children, Jorden Ruffle, Scott Ruffle, and Jasmine Chandler; four siblings, Kim Erson, Phillip Jamerson, Keith Burnette, and Adrian Burnette; and seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
