Anne Elizabeth Ruffle (Fehrman) passed away with her family by her side on October 13, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Anne was born on November 16, 1936, in Saginaw, MI to the late William Fehrman and Nina McDonagh Fehrman. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1954. It was there where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Larry Lee Ruffle on July 21, 1956. After 57 years of marriage, Larry preceded her in death on July 8, 2014. She was a member of First United Methodist Church on Gratiot, where she volunteered on various committees and taught Sunday school (Jefferson Ave. United Methodist Church).
Anne was born and raised in Saginaw. She and Larry spent many years at their cottage on Higgins Lake where she could be found on their dock reading or watching her beloved sunsets at night.
Anne was active in the band all four years in high school and was head majorette her senior year. She later graduated with honors from Delta College in 1989 at the age of 53.
Anne was a very accomplished seamstress who also had a passion for embroidery. She enjoyed sharing her love of crafting with her family and made them many homemade creations. She was involved in Alcoholics Anonymous and was a mentor to many others during her own 38 years of sobriety.
Anne is survived by her children Mike (Charlotte) Ruffle, Lisa (Craig) Guster, and Julie (Mike) Arnold; grandchildren Nicole (Dane) Martin, Tyler (Regan) Ruffle, Erika (Jordan) Amy, Cameron (Jordan) Guster, Kyle (Kara) Guster, Lindsay Guster (Lance Easter), Nathan (Veronica) Gaps, Nick Arnold, Brett Arnold, Ben (Jodee) Arnold, and Kaitlin (Eric) Busch; eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Clara Fehrman; and many nieces and nephews.
