Cathy Whiteaker Obituary
Cathy was born on June 13, 1950, to John Henry and Betty Demps in Sparta, Tennessee.
Cathy Shared 42 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby.
Together they built a life centered around love, laughter, and family. Cathy found joy in little things like working puzzles, playing cards, and spending peaceful days on the beach. Cathy worked and served in her church, remaining a faithful member until she was called home.
Mrs. Whiteaker is preceded in death by her father, John Henry Demps, husband Bobby Whiteaker, two sons Rodney and Reggie Richards, and daughter-in-law Angie Richards.
Mrs. Whiteaker is survived by her mother Betty Demps, Grandchildren Kelsea (Justin) Whittenberg, Kylie Richards (Cameron), and Jake Richards. Great-Grandchildren Makena Whittenberg, Lukas Whittenberg, and Monroe Grajeda.
Brothers: Johnny Demps, Jimmy (Rhonda) Demps, Jerry Demps, and Justin (Donna) Demps as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services honoring Mrs. Whiteaker will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at 1:00PM
The family will welcome friends for visitation from 11:00am until 1:00pm
Burial in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery will follow the service.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
