Cathy Wortkoetter Obituary
Cathy was born on October 18, 1959, in Akron, Ohio, to Robert and Ann (Smith) Vigrass. Cathy was a 1978 graduate of Stow High School.
On September 1, 1990, she married Donald Wortkoetter. According to her friends, this was the beginning of the happiest time of her life. She previously worked for Lerkas Asphalt, (where Cathy and Don met), Mansfield Business College, Karvo Paving, and Klaben Ford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, and her husband, Sue and Clyde DePriest; Don's parents, Richard and Wilma Wortkoetter, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Wortkoetter.
She is survived by her husband; sister-in-law, Mary (Jim) Newman; nephew, Cody (Sarah) Yoney; niece, Megan (Steve) Grau; fur babies, Sam and Sophie; uncle and aunt, Tom and Mary Ann Smith, as well as cousins and many good friends.
Cathy loved spending time with her family and her friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in 2024.
