Yesterday

I met Caylon when I visited Katmai a number of years ago. I eventually realized his love for poetry; 'wish I had known sooner: I wrote a lot while there and would have enjoyed connecting more with him about that shared love. He was a remarkable person: Caylon, I will not forget you.

--Beth Lechleitner, Poet Laureate of Loveland, Colorado 2025-2027, Author of Bear Days
