Cayron Hanscom, a beloved mother, wife, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, in Malvern, Arkansas, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love and faith. Born on September 10, 1956, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Cayron lived her life with an unwavering devotion to her family and her faith.
Cayron was deeply involved in her community, finding comfort and solace at Oak Grove Assembly of God and Happy Hollow Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her in every endeavor and relationship. She infused her home with love, warmth, and the teachings she cherished, creating a sanctuary for her family and anyone who graced her doorstep.
Cayron's heart was filled with pride and joy for her husband, Keith, who stood by her side through life’s journeys, and for her son, Adam Lum, and daughters, Anita Rice, and Rachel Lum. She embraced her role as a mother with boundless affection, and a loving relationship with her eleven cherished grandchildren.
She leaves behind the loving memories created with her family, as well as countless friendships that marked her beautifully lived life. While Cayron is survived by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren, her spirit also longs for the embrace of her cherished daughter, Patricia Lawson, and her beloved parents, Boyce and Eunice Alford, who welcomed her into eternal rest.
Cayron’s warmth, laughter, and incessant kindness will echo in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her life was a testament to the strength of family, the power of faith, and the beauty of love shared. As her family gathers to celebrate her life, they find solace in the cherished memories and unwavering spirit she instilled within each of them.
Friends and family are invited to honor Cayron’s memory during her viewing on May 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern, Arkansas. In this time of remembrance, those who loved Cayron can find comfort in sharing stories and honoring the luminous spark she brought into their lives.
