Sr. Cdp Maureen Grabowski

At the age of 96, Sister Maureen Grabowski entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She entered the Sisters of Divine Providence from St. Boniface Parish in Penn, PA. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and ministered as an educator for over 38 years. In 1988, Sister moved to Texas and worked at a residential facility for abused, neglected and dependent children. On returning to the Pittsburgh area late in 1989, she ministered in childcare until her retirement to prayer and service ministry. The youngest of four, she was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Stella (Pietrzak) Grabowski and her siblings: Edward (Elsie), Walter (Janet), and Ann (Alexander) Roberts. She is survived by nephews and nieces, friends, the Sisters of Divine Providence and their Associates. Friends will be received on Sunday, November 16th, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, November 17th, at 3 p.m. All will take place in Visitation Chapel at Kearns Spirituality Center, 9000 Babcock Boulevard, Allison Park, PA 15101.
