Cecil E. Clugston

Cecil E. Clugston, 92, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord June 5, 2023, at Brookview Healthcare Center. He was born on September 11, 1930, in Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania. He accomplished more with a 6th grade education than most have accomplished with a college education. He was an intelligent, hardworking man that walked in integrity, a good father and dedicated husband. No matter what adversity he faced in life, he never complained. Not even in these last days.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 56 years, June Clugston, and son, Cecil (husband of Lori) Clugston, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and various nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg with Pastor Doug Baldwin officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg. A luncheon will follow the interment at St. Thomas Assembly of God, 214 Rhondel Drive, St. Thomas. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with these services.
