With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the peaceful passing of Cecil Duane Craig on June 7, 2025, at the age of 74. He will be forever remembered for his witty personality and his love of fast cars and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Cecil was born on April 30, 1951, in McArthur, the son of the late Earl and Marguerite (Castor) Craig. He was married for 25 years to the late Sherry (Denney) Craig.
Cecil worked for Pixelle Specialty Solutions for over 25 years. He was a hardworking and practical man, someone who believed in earning his way through life. Cecil approached every task, whether at work or at home, with determination and a sense of pride. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures like swimming in the pool with his late wife Sherry, watching NASCAR, and playing with his dogs.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Kim) Craig and Jessica Guess; stepsons, Timm (Kelly) Woodgeard and Shawn Woodgeard; 13 Grandchildren; and sister Peg Randazzio, all of whom brought him endless joy. Cecil was preceded in death by his best friend and wife Sherry Craig; his parents; and his brothers, Melvin Craig and Sam Craig.
