Our Queen Cecilia S. Arandules, 84 of Tucson peacefully passed away on November 18, 2024. Cecilia is survived by her son, Jesus R. Sandate (Sylvia; daughter, Linda Sandate Rogers (Tom); sisters, Maria Cota, Helen Fimbres, Margie Varela, Marina Pesquiera, Pilar Andrade, Sally Vasquez and Lydia Quintana; grandchildren, Jose Sandate (Jennifer), Sara D. Godoy, Fransisco Quevedo (Rosalia) and Natalie Sandate; great- grandchildren, Alyssa Nikole Godoy, Joseph Daniel Godoy, Brielle Julianna Rostenhausler, Enrique Sandate, Eduardo Sandate, Amelia Sandate, Nikolas Felix Quevedo, Gilberto Francisco Quevedo and Gilberto Francisco Quevedo. Cecilia is preceeded in death her husband, Arnold Arandules, son, Joe Anthony Sandate and parents; Geronimo and Carmen Romo,
Cecilia attended Safford Junior High School and later in life did housekeeping at University Medical Center for 32 years. She had the biggest heart, always making sure that no one was ever hungry. She was the rock of the family and the life of the party. She loved to be with family especially during holidays and birthdays. She loved laughter, cracking jokes, always happy! She was the best cook and loved to dance, loved music and was a big animal lover. She also loved cross word puzzles, novelas and above all biggest Arizona Sports fan; Diamond Backs, Wildcats (U of A) Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals.
