Cecilia C. Forgione, age 93 of Weston, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Cecilia was born on February 21, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph and Maria Cutrone. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and her family and faith were always at the center of her life. Cecila was married to her late and dear husband Louis J. Forgione for 71 years. She had an early career at American Insurance. After marriage, Cecilia was a stay-at-home mom and raised five wonderful children. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and Minister of the Sick and Homebound at St. Francis of Assisi parish in Weston and was a volunteer for the Soup Kitchen in Norwalk, CT.
She is survived by her five beloved children Jeanmarie Ferullo and life partner Mike, Cecilia Forgione and husband Andy, John Forgione and wife Cara, Louis Forgione and wife Kate, Vincent Forgione and wife Laurisa and her eleven cherished grandchildren, Paul, Chistopher, Stephen, Laura, Mia, Emma, Marco, Jack, JT, Nicholas, William and three great-grandchildren, Grey, Remy, June, and another newly announced blessing on the way. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 35 Norfield Road, Weston CT on Thursday, June 19th at 10AM.
