Cecilia Fox, 'mom', 90, went to be with her daughter Claire and be placed side by side in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 16, 2024 at her home with family by her side.
She was born, the youngest of four sisters, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles and Antoinette (Trozzo) Leonardi. Anne, later then married Paul Ciacchi after Charles had passed on. Paul gave away the bride when Cecilia married Robert Fox, son of Katherine Fox, also of Cleveland, Ohio. "Grandpa Paul" also with kids of his own made for a nice big happy family.
Preceded in death by sisters Mary, Concettina, and Grace, daughter Claire T. Dot, niece Barbie Bendekovic, step sisters Louisa Trunkett, Dolly Liberty, Tony Ciacchi, Chris Ciacchi, Donald Ciacchi.
Mom will be dearly missed and those left to cherish her memory include, her kids, Charles (Andrea), Katherine Blake, Thomas (Sharie), James, David (Kim), Step brother Paul "Junior" Ciacchi, nieces, Sharon Bell, Lynn (Steve) Burnett, Pam Daynor, nephews Richard (Celene) Bell, John (Sharon) Bendekovic, Grandchildren, Taylor, Stephanie, Aaron, Alesha, Tore, Tiffany and Tyler, Great Grands, Amelia, Adelle, Buck, Gianna, Ianna, Bronson, Rowan, Theodore, Archer, Dean, Josiah.
Mom lived a full life. She graduated from John Marshall High School in the Cleve, married Bob Fox, moved to Columbus, then to New Jersey, became an office manager, retired, moved back to the Cleve, then to Columbus. She loved to read and could be found buried inside a novel most days. Loved to do her puzzles and challenge herself, and was the recorder and keeper of the family meatball recipe she got from her mother.
Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 12noon on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd Columbus, Ohio 43231. A service to honor Cecilia's life will be held immediately after the visitation also at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland.
