Cecilia Rodriguez Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Cecilia G. Rodriguez on April 6, 2025, born October 1, 1939, known as Tally to family and friends. Cecilia was a paralegal at El Paso Legal Aid and also at the law firm Bramlett and Bramlett. She served as President of the Police Wives Association in 1969 and 1973, and was also a past member of Theta Detinu Social Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, survived by her husband of 64 years, Fidel Rodriguez Sr., sons David, Victor, and daughter Denise, brother Jesus Garcia and sister Patricia Razo, 10 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son Fidel Jr., her parents Maria Luisa and Alfonso Garcia, three sisters and two brothers.
Cecilia "Tally" will be remembered by all as a beautiful, best friend.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, April 14, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 11:45 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama. Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave.
