Cecilia Mary Thomas

(nee Chambers) Born to Eternal Life on December 11, 2024, at Clemson Downs in Clemson, SC. Born in Menomonee Falls on April 13, 1933, to Fred and Mary Chambers. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School and Menomonee Falls High School and graduated in June of 1951. She married Arthur Wendt on October 20, 1956. He passed away on February 18, 1970. She was widowed for 14 years and then married Howard D. Thomas on May 4, 1985. They moved to South Carolina in a development called Keowee Key on September 10, 1989. Howard Thomas passed away on May 3, 1999. Cecilia enjoyed playing golf, bowling, singing in the choir, going to Clemson baseball games and traveling with friends. She worked at Farmers & Merchants Bank in Menomonee Falls, WI for 5 years, Morley Murphy Co. in Milwaukee, WI for 10 years, Globe Union in Glendale, WI for 14 years and A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for 3 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, her stepson Richard "Rick" Thomas, her sisters Sr. Janet Marie Chambers SSSF, Ruth (Henry) Jonen and Marjorie (Harry) Youngbauer, and her brother John Chambers. Survived by her grandchildren Matt (Kristen) Thomas of Brighton, MI and Magdalene "Maggee" Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL, great-grandchildren Ethan and Isabel Thomas of Brighton, MI, and her sister-in-law Viginia Chambers in Menomonee Falls, WI. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday, January 3, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 3970 N. 92 St., Milwaukee, WI with a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI.
