Terry Leo Brynjulfson, of Aniwa, died on October 14, 2025 at his home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 70 years old. He was born on January 11, 1955 in Black River Falls, a son of Leonard and Mae (Osegard) Brynjulfson. He married Mary Curley on January 26, 1980 in Milwaukee.
He attended Menomonee Falls High School. Terry owned and operated T-Bone's Corral for a number of years, supporting many benefits and auctions. He was also a DJ and enjoyed volunteering for nursing homes and other charity events.
Terry was a coach for Special Olympics, enjoyed tinkering, motorcycles, exploring, and working on his El Camino.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary; two daughters, Teresa (Trent) Bacon and Renee Brynjulfson all of Wausau; a son, Brian (Carolyn) Hervat of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Brandin and Dakota Bacon, Madison and William Hervat; three sisters, Leone Humblet, Linda Chapman, and Bonnie (Darrel) Filla; a brother, Jerry (Carrie) Brynjulfson; a half sister, Linda (Jerry) Locke; a sister-in-law, Nancy Ann Koepp; a brother-in-law, Dale Curley; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ebony Brynjulfson; a sister, Mary (Emil) Pecanas; two brothers, Len Brynjulfson and Gary (Lynn) Brynjulfson; a sister-in-law, Lynn Campuzano and brother-in-law, George Humblet.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 15 at the Corral on 52 beginning at 11 a.m. with a service at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wausau Metro Adult Special Olympics. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Terry, please visit our floral store.
