Strasser-Roller Funeral HomeMarjorie Ann Brecklin, age 80, formerly of the Town of Polar, died Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill.
Marjorie was born on March 25, 1945 in Spokane, WA to the late James and Margaret (Lindemann) Brecklin.
Marjorie grew up in the Town of Polar and attended St. John Catholic Grade School and was a graduate of Antigo High School. She then attended Patricia Stevens Finishing School in Milwaukee and remained there to work for several years. Upon returning to Polar, she worked for Miller Tire and Langlade Memorial Hospital.
Marjorie enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister Mary Lou Brecklin of Polar, 5 brothers: Richard (Ann) of Appleton, Robert (Mary Jane) of Satellite Beach, FL, Charles (Sharon) of Brussels, WI, Pat (Beverly) of Polar, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother James Brecklin and sister JoAnn Brecklin.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. John Catholic Church with Father Kamal Gopu and Father Charles Hoffmann will officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service in Hoffmann Hall at St. John Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
The family wished to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Pine Crest Nursing Home for the special care they gave to Marjorie.
