Cecilia M Wayman went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21 2025, surrounded by love. She was 77 years old.
Born in Susquehanna, PA on January 23, 1948, Cecilia was the daughter of the late Howard and Lousie Weibel Sr., who welcomed her into Heaven along with her sisters, Patricia Shay and Martha Weibel, and her brother, Howard Weibel Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 56 years, Harold Wayman Sr., who stood by her side through every season of life; her brothers, Albert and Harry; her son and daughter in law, Harold Wayman Jr and Rebecca; her daughter and son in law, Christine and Dennis Gow Jr; her beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Kaitlyn, Austin, Sarah, Haylie, and Issac; and her great-grandchildren, Precious Kinsley; her “Sweetie Pie”; Danny and Silis who brought her endless joy.
Cecilia lived her life with a gentle heart and a deep love for the simple, meaningful moments. She adored bluegrass music, singing and her many trips to Lancaster, PA especially her visits to Sight and Sound, where her faith and joy always shone brightly. But above all, her greatest treasure was time spent with her family. Whether sharing a laugh or offering a comforting word, Cecilia’s presence made every moment warm and memorable.
She proudly served for many years in the Susquehanna Community Elementary School cafeteria, where she greeted countless children with kindness, care and a smile. Even after retiring, she continued to hold those children and the memories she made deeply in her heart.
Cecilia’s love, faith and gentle spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now a peace, reunited with those who went before her, and watching over them with the same love she gave so freely in life.
