Cecilia Valderama Weibelt, 74, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1951, in Bacolod City, Philippines, to Vicente Abenir and Segundina Abenir. She attended Domingo Lacson National High School and Paglaum State College located in Bacolod City.

She retired in 2018 from janitorial services at NAS Jacksonville, where she worked for five years, and previously worked at Country Inn and Suites for nine years.

Cecilia was a member of St. Catherine of Siena in Orange Park, Florida, where she was a devoted Catholic.

She enjoyed playing mahjong with her friends, often spending hours around the table sharing stories and laughter while enjoying each other's company. Cecilia loved cooking all types of Filipino dishes, filling her home with the comforting aromas of adobo, pancit, and her special lumpia, always making sure her family and friends were well-fed and cared for. She found joy in preparing meals for gatherings, believing that food was a way to show love and bring people together. Cecilia also loved watching every Manny Pacquiao match, cheering passionately for him as she followed his boxing career with pride, often gathering with family to watch the fights together.

Cecilia will be remembered for her love of education and her friendly, hardworking spirit. She was dedicated to providing for her sons and balanced discipline with deep, unwavering care as a mother. Cecilia was known for her kindness and her ability to get along with everyone she met, often making friends wherever she went. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, going above and beyond what was expected of her without hesitation. Above all, Cecilia loved her family deeply, especially her granddaughters, who were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them, whether cooking their favorite dishes, attending their activities, or simply sharing stories around the table. Cecilia also loved her dogs, who brought her daily comfort and companionship. Her warm smile, quick laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of love that will continue through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente Abenir; her mother, Segundina Abenir; her brother, Wilfredo Abenir; and her sister, Ofelia Abenir Salmorin.

Cecilia is survived by her husband, Troy Allen Joseph Weibelt; her sons, Daniel Lee Weibelt (Nellie Noble Weibelt) and Scott Andrew Weibelt; and her grandchildren, Graci Li Weibelt, Juni Don Weibelt, Alexandria Rose Noble, and Leah Rae Noble. She is also survived by her siblings, Vicente Abenir Jr. and Alexander Abenir.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Florida 32073.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in dedication to Cecilia Weibelt.
