I had the privilege to work with Cecilia on various projects throughout Yuma County in the late 1990's and early 2000's. She was a very smart lady and shared her grant writing experience with me on several occasions. May you Rest in Peace and fly high my friend!

My cousin Cecilia was such a beautiful person. I came to visit my uncle Wayne and aunt Barbara Young in Newton, Ma. in 1970 and Cecilia was raising whippets at the time. Wayne gave us some money and Cecilia took me on a tour of Boston where we ate at a seafood restaurant and visited MIT University. We continued to write each other over the years and stay in touch with each other. She told of achieving her PH.D level and becoming head Librarian and told me of her Vacation excursions after retiring and also of raising her 2 sons Charles and Cedric. She is truly a remarkable person and I will never forget her.

Thank you for being you and sharing your life and your wisdom with me. It was a pleasure meeting you in 2010 as your grant writer intern. You influenced me so much through that year and the later years in our friendship that developed! I really appreciated Cecilia!
