Mrs. Cecily Janeen Thompson

Mrs. Cecily Janeen (Causey) Thompson affectionately known as "Kippy" passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Mrs. Cecily Janeen (Causey) Thompson was the oldest child of Samuel and Deborah Causey. She was born on March 4, 1970, in Tampa, Fl. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a 1988 graduate of Gaither High School. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Phoenix. She married her childhood sweetheart, Alfred Thompson III on January 16, 1999. She was a dedicated Teacher in the Killeen and Temple ISD's. Most recently she worked as a Client Experience Executive for Wipfli, LLP.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Samuel Causey Sr.; and her brother, Dante Causey.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Alfred; sons, Tyrone McKinney Jr., and Tyrell Thompson; stepdaughter, Alisha Thompson; grandchildren, Brooklyn McKinney, and Rashad Thompson; mother, Deborah Causey; brother, Samuel Causey Jr.; In-Laws, Alfred, and Carolyn Thompson Jr.; uncle, Darrell (Inell) Wooden; aunts, Donna Wooden, Danette (James) Boyd, Betty Lovett, Elouise Philon, and Carrie Washinton; nephews, Samuel, Trevonte, Marquis, Quintion, Samaurie Causey, and Damon Hughes; niece, Samara Causey; cousins, Chenette Wooden, Bryan Wooden, Twanda (Jason) Barton, Shawnda Wooden, Darrell Wooden Jr., Alvin Boyd, Joe Allen, Brian Allen, Britnee Allen, Mia Wooden, and Austin Tillman; God Mother, Consuella Leath; God Sister, Carla Williams; God Brother, Bennie Williams; Special BFF's, Tawanda Foster, Camille George, Misty McPherson, Michelle McPherson, Tonya Cade, the Williams, Hillard-Holley, Carey-Bulmer, Hemmingway, Morrison, Pryor, Young, and Pilcher families; and all her friends that became family at Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church.
