Our sweet girl, Celeste Alicia Ruedas, was born sleeping on May 2nd, 2025, at 5:34 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long. She had her papa's eyebrows, her mommy's nose, and her abuela's hands.
Even while in her mommy's womb, it was obvious to her parents that she had a big personality. She liked to roll around and dance, and some of her favorite artists were Doechii and Chappell Roan. A plate of her papa's cooking would get her kicking and punching like nothing else, especially if it was mole poblano.
She is deeply loved and brought us so much joy and hope in the brief time that we shared with her. Although we didn't get any time Earth side with her, she was held in love for the entirety of her life and we look forward to the next lifetime when we'll be reunited.
She is mourned by her papa, Oscar Ivanne Ruedas Morales; her mommy, Megan Alisha Ruedas (nee Shedd); her abuela, Martha Alicia Ruedas Morales; her grandmother, Sherry Lynn Bucek (nee Shedd); her great grandma Milena Bucek, and so many tias, tios, primos, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her abuelo, Juan Martin Ruedas; her grandfather, Keith Allen Clemmer, and her great grandpa, George Bucek, who are surely cuddling her and keeping her company.
A private celebration of life will be held to honor Celeste. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to Footprints on the Heart, a wonderful organization that provided us great comfort in a very dark time. Donations in Celeste's memory can be made at www.footprintsontheheart.org.
Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel, 138 Melrose Drive, Dalton, GA, 30721. 706-226-4002. www.selectedindependentfuneralhomes.org
