Celia Gallardo Ayala, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Celia is preceded in death by her husband; Jose Ines Ayala, her daughter; Laura Elsa Gonzalez, her grandson; Aaron Gonzalez, her parents; Adolfo Gallardo Dueñez and Carmen Castañon De Gallardo, her brothers; Antonio Gallardo (Domitila), Manuel Gallardo (Rosario) Guadalupe Gallardo (Teresa), Marcial Gallardo, Pascual Gallardo (Abigail), Sofia Rico (Armando), Gabriel Gallardo and Donato Gallardo,
She is survived by her sister; Carmen Gonzalez, children; Maria Dinora Ayala, Carmen Contreras (Osvaldo), Joe Ayala, Miguel Angel Ayala, and Adriana Vasquez (Felipe), her grandchildren; Melissa Contreras (Jason Duran), Bryan Contreras, Michael Anthony Ayala, Laura Andrea Ayala, Helen Ballez, and Brianna Smith, as well as her great-grandchildren; Tyler Johnson, Zachary Ballez, Jonah Duran, and Ezra Duran. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, March 01, 2023 with a Rosary to commence at 6:30pm, at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 02, 2023 at Santo Nino de Atocha; 210 S Clark Dr., El Paso, TX 79905. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery; 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX 79906.
