Celia Merle Segree age 91 of Carrabelle, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 6, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Victor Randolph and Jesse Godwin Randolph.
Celia was known for her kind heart and willingness to do for others. She loved to shop, listen to music, sewing, and gardening. Celia enjoyed spending her time in the garden or tending to her yard with her animals. She often told stories of the clothes she sewed as a child for her dolls and later the clothes she sewed for her children. Her greatest treasure was her family and she took great pride in telling anyone who would listen about how proud she was of them.
Celia lived a long full life filled with happiness, tragedies, accomplishments and most of all love. Even though her life has ended, she will be dearly missed by family and friends. We can rejoice in knowing she is no longer in pain and has finally been reunited with her husband and children.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, R.D. Segree; one brother, Robert and one sister Mildred "Honey Boo". She is also preceded in death by three children, Gene, Leslie, and Vickie.
Celia is survived by Morgan Golden, Peggy Andrews, Victor Causey (Crystal), Jennifer Golden, Jadena Terrell (Greg), and her many beloved great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Segree will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at United Baptist Church in Eastpoint, Florida with visitation beginning at 10 AM Eastern Time and the funeral at 11 AM Eastern Time with Pastor Scott Shiver officiating. Interment will follow at Eastpoint Cemetery.
