Martinez Funeral Chapels - TucsonCelina Miranda, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left this world on August 30, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Born on February 24, 1983, Celina brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
For 18 years, she dedicated herself to her role as a meat cutter and manager at Fry's grocery store, where her commitment to excellence and customer service made her an invaluable member of the community. Celina's work ethic was matched by her caring nature, perfectly embodying the definition of a hardworking and steadfast individual.
A proud graduate of Desert View High School in Tucson, Celina participated actively in various activities, including softball and the ROTC program, reflecting her spirited character and camaraderie with her peers. She loved moments spent with family and cherished the time devoted to her hobbies. Whether it was gathering at family functions, losing herself in a good book, or watching the magical world of Harry Potter unfold on screen, Celina embraced every moment of life with enthusiasm.
Celina's greatest joy, however, came from her family. She was the epitome of a loving "cool tia," nurturing her nieces and nephews with heartfelt attention and creating special memories on their birthdays that they will treasure forever. Celina's kindness extended to her dear nana, whom she adored, visiting frequently to share moments of love and laughter.
She is survived by her devoted parent, Cristina Fregoso Rodriguez (Albert Rodriguez), who raised her with love and support; her siblings, Veronica, Bobby, Crissy, and Andres, who shared countless adventures and experiences with her; and her half-siblings, Eric, Gilbert, Ernie, and Susana, as well as her dad, Ernie Miranda who added to the rich tapestry of her family life. Celina was preceded in death by her sister, Monica, who will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.
A visitation will be held on September 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass honoring her life will take place on September 19, 2025, at Santa Monica Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, concluding with her burial at Holy Hope Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Celina’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, reminding us of the lasting impact one caring soul can have in this world.
