Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4th from 3:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. at Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home 544 West 31st Street., Chicago. Chapel prayers at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 A.M. followed by procession to St. Procopius Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M.. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
Cesar A Chavez was from Pilsen and resided at 19th and Morgan Street.
Cesar A Chavez is survived by his son Cesar, daughter Victoria, partner Stephanie, father Cesar, mother Hilda, brothers Abel and Ruben. Preceding him in death are his grandfather Abel, grandmother Maria Elena Chavez, grandfather Francisco, grandmother Elia Diaz, uncle Ruben Diaz, grandfather Abel Chavez, and cousin Omar Chavez.
