Cesar Velarde Obituary
August 29, 1969 – October 19, 2025
Cesar Alexander Velarde of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, at the age of 56. He was the beloved son of Cesar and Evangeline Velarde and a cherished brother to Adam (Jennifer) Velarde. He will be deeply missed by his loving niece, Hadley Velarde, and his nephews, Joey and Grey Velarde, who adored their Tio Cesar.
Cesar will be fondly remembered by his dear aunts Martha Chorne, Irma Gil (Velarde), and Martha Martinez (Velarde), his uncle Henry Velarde, uncle Frank Fanta and many beloved cousins, all of whom shared in countless memories of laughter, warmth, and family gatherings.
Cesar's kind heart and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook, IL 60527.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., La Grange, IL 60525 on Friday October 24th 10AM. Friends will meet directly at the church.
