Chad Cooper Obituary
Chad was known for his adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace new experiences. His love for horses, hunting, and fishing reflected his deep appreciation for the outdoors. Chad's openness and energy made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Cooper Bryant & husband Robert; sons, Reese Cooper and Evan Cooper; daughter, Serena VanWinkle and her son, Jimmy Scott; brothers, Cody Brent Cooper & wife Amanda and Chase Brandon Cooper; nieces and nephews, Logan Cooper, Audrey Cooper, Cori Cooper, Cara Cooper, Gavin Armistead, Ethan Armistead, Eli Armistead, and Maci Rainwater; grandfather, Pete Cooper.
He is preceded in passing by his father, Roger Dale Cooper; siblings, Casey Cooper and Jeff Armistead; grandparents, Downs & Wanda Buxton and Audrey Cooper.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Rev. Mike Streams will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hyatt Cemetery, Fields, Louisiana.
