I remember Chad since I was eight or nine years old and started going to Victory Baptist Church. Chad and I went to church, school, camp, teen activities, roller skating and school sports together. I am so sad to hear that he was taken so early in his life. We are praying for his wife and family.

I dint know Chad but watched his struggle thru his wife who I have been friends over 20 years. She always had a smile for him no matter how hard. I'm so sorry.

I remember many happy memories with Chad during high school. He always made me laugh and smile with his sense of humor. I remember countless soccer games and being silly at lunch.

I only knew Chad for a short while when attending Calvary Baptist Church. But I can tell you this, his personality and knowledge of the Bible was astounding. My heart breaks for all of you. Way too young to leave his family, but he has went on to a better place. Even though we don't understand why some of us have to go so young, we have to put our trust in the Lord for his reasons. We will see you again someday my friend. You have made an impact on this world that will be remembered by many for years to come.

So much I never learned about Chad. But what I saw was a kind man who loved Cassandra and his family, and who fought hard to stay with them. His sweet smile, even on bad days, always warmed my heart. Cassandra loved him in such a sacrificial way that I can only aspire to treat my family the same under such circumstances. All my love and regret that this disease is not yet defeated. But it cannot defeat love, and he was dearly loved.
