I have known Chad for a very long time. His mother was my Sunday school teacher. Chad was a fun guy and always said hi and talked to you. I can't believe this great guy is gone.

Chad and I learned how to swim together when we were like 4-5 years old. Hand fun from Mill Creek to LR. Played on the same
Little league team which he was a star at. Use to enjoy stopping by dispatch when I worked nights with Richland county and catch up with him. Good times.

Even though I left CPD a little over six years ago to continue my law enforcement career in Tampa, hearing the news if your passing touched a little different. Rest Easy Sir keep watching over all the First Responders as you did so graciously behind that radio.

Chad and I were friends for a long time and I will miss him very much. From our time fishing and hunting to watching and cheering for the Braves he was always fun to be around .

Never forget playing football with Chad at Mill Creek Elementary when we were probably 15. Chad ran down someone (maybe Lance Pratt) and tackled them by pulling down their pants. We laughed and laughed.
Chad was a good man. I appreciated that he never turned bitter after his accident led to his wheelchair. He always persevered.

I first met Chad in elementary school. He was a year behind me but we had a lot of the same friends.
