Chad Schroeder

1982 - 2022

LIMA -- Chad Michael William Schroeder, age 40, passed away October 4, 2022, at 6:00 am, at Lima Memorial Health System. Chad was born February 27, 1982, in Lima, OH, to Neal F. Burk and Brenda L. Schroeder. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.

In addition to his mother, Chad is survived by his children: Kiara Schroeder of Cridersville, OH, Cameron Schroeder and Conner Schroeder both of Lima, OH, a grandson, Karter Sewell, 3 siblings: Jennifer (Brandon) Kerr of Lima, OH, Jamie (Gabe) Stone and Eric (Megan) Maus all of Ft. Wayne, IN.

Chad was a 2000 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and he also attended Apollo Career Center. After high school Chad attended Rhodes State College where he earned an Associates Degree in Civil Design and Engineering Technology. He also attended the CDA Technical Institute in Jacksonville, FL where he earned a certificate in underwater welding. Chad had held several different jobs from pouring concrete, welding, h-vac and most currently was flipping houses. Chad loved sports of all types and was an Ohio fan first and foremost. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

There will be a funeral service held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 12 noon at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL . Officiating the service will be Rev. Randy Davis. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.
