Chadwick L. Morton Sr.

Chadwick L. Morton Sr., 52, of New London, died Friday, October 31st, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. There will be a visitation Friday, November 7th, from 1-3:00 pm, at Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar followed by a service at 3:00 pm. Chad Morton was born on May 2, 1973, in Litchfield, Minnesota, to Timothy and Patricia (Power) Morton. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School. Chad spent several years working at Jennie-O and most recently at International Paper, where he worked in the warehouse alongside his longtime friend and "second dad," Lonny Robbin.
Chad was known for his unwavering work ethic, love of camping, and passion for working on cars-often braving the bitter cold to do so. No matter the challenges life threw his way, Chad remained positive and determined, always reassuring those around him with a simple, "It's ok." He never missed a chance to say, "I love you," and those words will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Chad also enjoyed playing in pool and dart leagues.
The past several years were the happiest of Chad's life, spent with his beloved fiancée, Jill Fultz. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment with them.
Chad is survived by his fiancée, Jill Fultz; his parents, Tim (Lynn) Morton and Patricia (Jr) Davis; his children, Rene (Isabel) Garcia, Jose (Kayana) Flores, Lily (Tory) Morton, Chad Morton, Daniel (Anna) Fultz, Nicholas (Katie) Nurnberg, and Joshua Nurnberg; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Kim (Dan) Rohloff, Matthew (Tina) Morton, and Molly (Trent) Ryks; his grandmother, Jurena Seehusen; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Chad will be remembered for his kindness, resilience, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
