Chalice Woebbeking,45 of Ashland passed away Monday afternoon, January 8, 2024 in her home.
She was born October 26, 1978 in Ft. Wayne Indiana, the daughter of Keith Woebbeking of Galena Missouri and Tina (Bill Galbreath) Altic of North Webster, Indiana. Chalice graduated from Antwerp High School. After she settled in Ashland, she attended classes at Ashland University.
Chalice married Timmy Phillips who preceded her in death on August 20, 2016. She had worked as a chemist at Wil Research for many years until her health forced her retirement.
Chalice enjoyed nature, loved animals, but loved her family most of all. The Philadelphia Eagles were "her" football team and her dog Ben was her "second son!"
She will be missed by her parents; son Tyler Phillips of Ashland; her partner in life, Mark W. Phillips of Ashland; stepfather Bill Galbreath; brother, William (Jenn) Woebbeking of Meredian, Idaho and stepsister, Carrie (Brady) Weldon of Merlin, Oregon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral home with Trudy Bates officiating. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. before the service on Tuesday evening.
