Mr. Chance Allen Goostree, age 18, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 in Simpson Co, KY as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Chance was born August 5th, 2004 in Bowling Green, KY.
He is survived by his parents, Chad and Mandy (Hall) Goostree of Franklin, KY; 2 brothers, Coby Drake Goostree and Cayson Reed Goostree both of Franklin, KY; maternal grandparents, Donald Hall of Franklin, KY and Pamela and Jason Schoolcraft of Franklin, KY; paternal grandparents, Leasa and Randall Moore of Scottsville, KY; paternal great grandmother, Sammie Moore of Lafayette, TN, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chance was a 2022 graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School Class in which he was voted Class Clown. Chance enjoyed playing video games, loved working on and riding around in trucks, loved volleyball, basketball, hanging with friends and loved being a big brother.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 325 W. Cedars St, Franklin, KY 42134. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
