Chandra Elgin Obituary
Chandra Michelle Elgin, 65 years of age and resident of Lake Barrington, passed away on June 9, 2025, at Good Shephard Hospital.
She was born on January 25, 1960, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to Lucinda (nee Fisher) and the late George Elgin.
Chandra adored horses, particularly riding and racing. She was a well-known network analyst in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years. She will be missed by many.
Chandra is survived by her loving husband, Howard Tyska; mother Lucina Elgin; brothers David Elgin and Eric Elgin; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father George Elgin; brother Aaron Elgin; and sister Susan Elgin-Mitchell.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Davenport Family Funeral Homes, 941 South Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund (Donate Here) in Chandra’s name.
