Chantae Carol Rose Tapaha, affectionately known as Bunzzy, graced this world with her illuminating presence on the 4th of September, 2004 in
Ogden, Utah. With a heart full of compassion and an inspiring spirit, Chantae's 21 years of life were a testament to resilience and boundless love. Her remarkable aura lit up every room she entered, and the love she held for her family was the cornerstone of her life. Chantae was known for her exceptional bond with babies and children, a testament to her nurturing soul that was evident in her occupation as a beloved Daycare Aide.
Chantae was a lover of life, with a passion for cosmetology and music that added vibrant colors to her days. She was a beacon of inspiration for all who knew her, always leaving traces of joy and warmth in her wake. Chantae's resilience was as admirable as it was poignant, having faced life's challenges with an unwavering sense of courage and grace. As we remember Chantae, we are reminded of the verse from Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Indeed, Chantae's light shone brightly, touching many lives and leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Chantae is survived by her adoring family; mother, Chandra Jones, father, Cameron Sr, brothers Cameron Jr (Micaiah), Cahnnai Tapaha, and Aahaneu Penn, sisters Micaiah (Cameron) Coleman, Aanavay Penn, Cammija Tapaha, Arianna Tapaha, and her cherished niece, Yakira Tapaha. She is preceded in death by her loving grandmothers, Nellie Tapaha and Carol Begay.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 12:15-1:15 PM, at Myers Mortuary - Ogden, followed by graveside services at Evergreen Memorial Park.
